Play Drift City

Getting into Drift City World takes a few minutes. You need a Discord account, and that is the only account we ask you to make anywhere else — it is how we keep one player to one game account, which is what lets us run a fair server and deal with the small number of people who make it unfair for everyone else.

Four steps

  1. Sign in with Discord

    Authorise Drift City World with your Discord account. We only ask for your username and ID — nothing else, and we never post on your behalf.

  2. Create your game login

    Choose the ID and password you will type into the game client. One game account is allowed per Discord account.

  3. Download the client

    Download the Drift City World client and unpack it anywhere on your PC. No installer, no launcher account.

  4. Log in and drive

    Start the client, enter the login you just created, make a character and the city is open.

The download link is not published yet. Join the Discord and it will be posted there the moment it goes up — along with everything else worth knowing.

Drift City was built in 2007, so almost anything made this decade will run it comfortably.

Drift City is the property of its respective rights holders; this server is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any official developer or publisher of the game. If an official version of Drift City is available in your region, please support it — this project exists because the game deserved to keep running, not to compete with it.
